Custom hang tags for apparel and product branding
A hang tag is the printed tag that hangs from a product, on a garment, a bottle or a gift, carrying your brand, price, size or a QR code. Also called clothing tags, garment tags, swing tags or brand tags, they come with the string included and print on both sides.

Hang tag sizes and thickness
Not sure how big your tag should be? These are the common sizes, and you can print any of them or a custom size:
- Small (about 1.5 × 2.75 in / 4 × 7 cm) — jewellery, accessories and small products.
- Standard (about 2 × 3.5 in / 5 × 9 cm) — the most common apparel and clothing tag.
- Large (about 2.5 × 4 in / 6.5 × 10 cm) — more room for care details, sizing or a QR code.

How do I set up my artwork?
Send your design as an Adobe Illustrator or vector PDF, or a 300dpi PNG, at your tag size. If you're printing both sides, send the front and the back. Keep the hole position in mind and important text 3mm inside the edge, and mark any custom shape.

What is a hang tag, and is it the same as a clothing or swing tag?
Yes, they're all names for the same thing: a printed card tag that hangs from a product on a string. Clothing tag, swing tag, brand tag and hang tag all describe it, so whichever term you searched, you're in the right place.
Is the string included?
Yes. Every hang tag comes with the string and a punched hole, ready to attach, so there's nothing extra to buy or assemble.
What size should a hang tag be?
The most common is around 2 × 3.5 in for apparel; smaller (about 1.5 × 2.75 in) suits jewellery and accessories, and larger (about 2.5 × 4 in) gives room for care details or a QR code. You can print any of these or a fully custom size, see the size guide above.
How thick are they, and what paper can I choose?
They print on a sturdy board (around 350gsm) so they don't bend on the string, in non-tear, textured or art paper. Non-tear is the toughest if the tag will take a lot of handling.
Can I print on both sides and add a QR code?
Yes. Print both sides to fit your logo and brand on the front and sizing, care details, a QR code or your social handle on the back, a simple way to link customers to your store.
Can I get a custom shape?
Yes. Beyond standard rectangles, we die-cut tags to any shape you like, with the hole positioned to suit. Send your outline and we'll set it up on the proof.
Are these sewn-in fabric or woven labels?
No. These are printed card hang tags that attach with a string, not sewn-in woven or fabric care labels, which are a different product we don't make. If you want a tag that hangs from your product, you're in the right place.
Can I design my hang tag online?
Yes. If you don't have print-ready artwork, design your tag in our online studio with your logo, text and images, then order the print straight from there.
Do you offer foil, spot-UV or foldable tags?
