Custom black courier bags and poly mailers
For a fashion or D2C brand, a plain grey courier bag undersells the order inside. A black poly mailer with a soft sheen and a metallic print does the opposite, it makes the unboxing feel like part of the product.
These are opaque black LDPE bags, 60 microns thick, so they're tough, water-resistant and tear-resistant, and no one can see what's inside. The black has a soft sheen that catches the light, not flat matte and not full gloss, and a peel-and-seal strip seals the bag for good once it's closed.
You print your logo and text in white, silver or gold; silver and gold are a metallic finish and white a clean solid, all more premium than the usual dark ink on white. They're made for fashion, electronics and valuable e-commerce, from a run of 100 upwards.
Choosing a size
Bags come in four sizes. Lay your product flat and pick the size that fits it with a little room to fold the flap and seal:
- 8 Ć 10 in (S) ā accessories, jewellery, a single tee or socks.
- 10 Ć 14 in (M) ā folded apparel, a couple of tees, small electronics.
- 12 Ć 16 in (L) ā hoodies, bulkier apparel, or a few items together.
- 14 Ć 18 in (Big) ā large garments or bulkier multi-item orders.
These are fixed sizes, so if the size you need is between the two standard sizes, choose the bigger one. We don't cut custom sizes on this bag.
Tamper-proof, protective, with a built-in POD pouch
The peel-and-seal strip seals once and can't be reopened cleanly, so any tampering shows, and the opaque black film keeps the contents hidden. The water-resistant, tear-resistant LDPE protects the order through the courier network. Each bag also has a POD pouch, a clear document pocket on the outside for your shipping label or invoice, so you slot the label in rather than taping it on, and it stays readable and doesn't peel off in transit.

How do I set up my logo for print?
Send your logo or design as an Adobe Illustrator or vector PDF, or a 300dpi PNG, in a single colour, since print is one colour (white, silver or gold) on the bag. Keep it clear of the seal and the bag edges so nothing is lost when the bag is made.

What colours can I print on the black bags?
One solid colour, white, silver or gold, printed on the black bag. Silver and gold have a metallic finish and white is a clean solid, all more premium than the dark-ink-on-white most courier bags use.
Are the bags tamper-proof?
Yes. The adhesive strip seals the bag once and can't be reopened cleanly, so any attempt to open it shows. That, plus the opaque black film, makes them a secure choice for valuable or high-theft-risk shipments.
Are they water-resistant and opaque?
Yes to both. The LDPE film is water-resistant and tear-resistant, so the contents stay protected in transit, and the black is fully opaque, so no one can see what's inside. It's water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so it shrugs off rain and handling but isn't meant for submersion.
How thick are the bags?
60 microns. That's thick enough to resist tears and punctures through the courier network while staying light, so it doesn't add much to your shipping weight.
What is the POD pouch?
It's a clear document pocket on the outside of the bag for your shipping label or invoice. You slide the label in instead of taping it on, so it stays readable and won't peel off along the way.
What sizes do you offer, and can I get a custom size?
Four fixed sizes: 8 Ć 10 (S), 10 Ć 14 (M), 12 Ć 16 (L) and 14 Ć 18 in (Big). We don't cut custom sizes on this bag, so lay your product flat and pick the size that fits with a little room to seal; if the size you need is between the two standard sizes, choose the bigger one.
Can I print my logo along with contact or return details?
Yes. You can print your logo, brand name, return address and short contact or promo lines, all in your one print colour. It's a good way to reinforce the brand and cut down on separate address labels.
