White-ink clear stickers
White-ink clear stickers are transparent stickers printed with a layer of white ink, so your colours show up solid instead of turning see-through against the surface behind them. On glass, dark packaging or clear film, colour printed on its own looks washed out; the white ink gives it an opaque base to sit on.
They come on two clear materials, 95% PVC clear and clear vinyl, in 17 stock sizes up to 6×6 inches (or a custom size), in four shapes, supplied die-cut as individual pieces or on sheets. Order from 25, and you approve a proof that shows exactly where the white sits before we print.
Looking for a plain white sticker? These are clear stickers printed with white ink, not solid white stickers. For plain white sticker stock, see our standard stickers or white vinyl stickers.
How white ink printing works
Regular sticker inks are semi-transparent, so on a clear or dark surface they let the background show through and colours look faded. A white ink layer fixes that by giving the colour something opaque to print against. There are three ways to use it:
- A full white base — white ink printed under the whole design, so every colour reads solid. Best when you want the sticker to look as if it's on white, even on glass or a dark box.
- White only — just the white ink, no colour on top, for a clean white logo or text on an otherwise clear sticker.
- Spot white — white applied to selected areas only, leaving the rest clear, so part of the design is solid and part shows the surface behind it.
To set it up, mark the areas you want backed with white on a separate layer in your artwork (a vector AI or PDF file). We use that layer to place the white, and your proof shows exactly how it sits on the clear before anything prints.

The two clear materials
Both materials are clear and both take white ink; the difference is durability:
- Clear vinyl — fully waterproof and the more durable of the two, so it stands up to handling, moisture and outdoor use.
- 95% PVC clear — a clear PVC film for indoor and light use.
If the sticker will be washed, chilled or used outdoors, choose clear vinyl. Because printing is digital, colours are matched as closely as possible but can vary slightly, and a white base helps keep them consistent on clear.

For a different clear sticker, see plain transparent stickers without white ink; for a rainbow sheen, holographic stickers; for glass and windows, glass stickers; for bottles and jars, bottle & jar labels; and for large runs, bulk stickers.
Custom printed box questions
If we missed anything, we are just a call away.
Why do I need white ink on a clear sticker?
Standard colour inks are semi-transparent. On clear film or a dark surface, they let the background show through and colours look faded. A layer of white ink underneath gives the colour an opaque base, so it prints solid and bright.
What's the difference between a white base, white-only and spot white?
A full white base sits under the whole design, so every colour reads solid. White-only prints just the white ink, for a clean white logo or text on a clear sticker. Spot white backs selected areas only, leaving the rest of the sticker clear.
How do I set up my artwork for white ink?
Send vector artwork (AI or PDF) and mark the areas you want backed with white on a separate layer. We use that layer to place the white ink, and your proof shows exactly where it sits on the clear before printing.
What materials do they come on?
Two clear materials: 95% PVC clear and clear vinyl. Both take white ink; they differ in durability.
Are they waterproof?
Clear vinyl is fully waterproof and the more durable choice, suitable for handling, moisture and outdoor use. The 95% PVC clear is a clear film for indoor and lighter use. If the sticker will get wet or go outside, choose clear vinyl.
What sizes and shapes are available?
Seventeen stock sizes from 1×1 in up to 6×6 in, plus a custom size, in four shapes, round, square or rectangle, oval, and any custom shape. Supplied die-cut as individual pieces or on sheets.
What's the minimum order, and how much do they cost?
From 25 stickers, at ₹8.98 each excluding GST, with the per-sticker price dropping as your quantity rises up to 20,000, and a GST invoice on every order.
Can I order plain white stickers here?
No, these are clear stickers printed with white ink. For solid white sticker stock, see our standard stickers or white vinyl stickers.
When will my order ship?
Orders are dispatched in 2–3 working days after you approve your proof, then shipped pan-India via Bluedart or DTDC.
