Custom kraft paper mailer envelopes
A kraft paper mailer envelope is a lightweight brown paper mailer for shipping soft goods by courier. Made from 80 GSM kraft paper with a self-adhesive, tamper-evident seal that tears to open, it's paper rather than plastic film, with a natural brown surface you can both print and write on.
These kraft mailers, also called paper mailer bags or brown mailing envelopes, are made for clothing, books, accessories and other soft, non-fragile items. Print your logo in a single colour to brand every parcel.

Kraft mailers for clothing and apparel
Kraft paper mailers are a favourite for shipping clothes: they're light, so they keep courier charges down, and the brown paper looks clean and considered when it lands on the doorstep. Small fashion brands and online sellers use them as garment and apparel shipping bags for t-shirts, folded garments, scarves and accessories.
Because kraft paper isn't waterproof, for clothing that ships in heavy rain, add an inner sleeve. See the size guide below for which size fits what.
Kraft mailer envelope sizes
Four sizes, in inches, and what each holds:
- Small (6.5 × 8 in) — accessories, jewellery, scarves and small items.
- Medium (8.5 × 11 in) — a folded t-shirt, a book or documents.
- Large (11 × 14 in) — multiple garments, a hoodie or a larger bundle.
- Extra Large (13 × 15.5 in) — bulky clothing or several items together.
If your item sits between two sizes, go with the larger one.
What they're not for
Kraft paper is resistant to light moisture but not waterproof, so for shipping in heavy rain, use an inner sleeve or a waterproof poly bag instead. They're also not padded, so they aren't suited to fragile items like glassware or liquids, for those, a bubble mailer or a mailer box protects better.

How do I set up my artwork?
Send your logo or design as a print-ready PDF or vector file with a 3mm bleed. Print is a single colour on the brown kraft, so a clean one-colour logo works best. Because we print digitally, colours are matched as closely as possible but can vary slightly on the natural kraft surface.

What print colours can I choose?
Your logo prints in a single colour, black, white, red, blue or green. It's one ink colour per mailer, so a clean, bold one-colour design works best on the brown kraft.
Can I write on them?
Yes. The uncoated kraft surface takes pen, marker and adhesive shipping labels cleanly, so you can hand-write an address or stick a thermal label straight on, which not every mailer allows.
Are kraft mailers waterproof?
No. Kraft paper resists light moisture but isn't waterproof, so for shipping in heavy rain we recommend an inner sleeve, or a waterproof poly bag if your parcels regularly face wet conditions.
Can I ship fragile items in them?
No. Kraft mailers aren't padded, so they're not suited to fragile items like glassware or liquids. For those, a padded bubble mailer or a rigid mailer box protects better.
Is the seal secure?
Yes. The self-adhesive flap is tamper-evident, it seals shut and has to be torn to open, so any attempt to open the mailer in transit is visible on arrival.
