Custom VOID labels
Anti-tamper VOID labels, also called tamper-evident stickers or security seals, make tampering impossible to hide. The label carries a hidden VOID pattern in its adhesive, so it looks like an ordinary sticker until someone tries to peel it off, at which point the pattern splits, part lifts away with the label and part stays stuck to the surface spelling out VOID, and the two can't be lined back up. It can't be re-applied, so the evidence is permanent.
That's the key distinction: a VOID label is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof. It doesn't physically stop someone opening a box, it makes it obvious that they did, which is what deters tampering and settles disputes over whether a seal was broken.

Where VOID labels are used

The wordings people ask for most are "Warranty void if seal is broken", "Warranty void if removed" and "Warranty void if tampered", plus shorter forms like "Void if removed" or "Guarantee void if seal broken", but you can print whatever your product needs, including your own warning text.
Apply them to a smooth, hard, clean surface, glass, metal, hard plastic or a coated box, since the pattern needs an even surface to grip and rough or textured surfaces are the usual reason a seal fails. Clean the surface, press the label down firmly from the centre out, and give it time to bond before the item is handled or shipped.

What is a VOID label, and how does it work?

What's the difference between tamper-evident and tamper-proof?
A VOID label is tamper-evident: it shows that something was opened or removed. It's not tamper-proof, it doesn't physically prevent someone opening a package, it makes the tampering obvious. That visible proof is what deters it and settles disputes.
Does the VOID pattern stay on the product or on the sticker?
Both. Part of the pattern stays stuck to the surface and part lifts away with the label, and the two can't be matched back up.
Can a VOID label be reapplied?
No. Once it's peeled, the pattern has split and the label can't be re-stuck or realigned, that's what makes the evidence permanent.
What surfaces do they work on?
Smooth, hard, clean surfaces, glass, metal, hard plastic or a coated box. They don't work reliably on rough or textured surfaces, where the pattern can't grip evenly. Clean the surface before applying.
What wording can I print?
