Kraft Paper Product Box (Boxes)

For an artisan, organic or handmade brand, a brown kraft box looks the part in a way a glossy white box doesn't. It reads natural and honest, exactly the signal a soap-maker, candle brand or small-batch cosmetics label wants on the shelf.

The box is a tuck-end mono carton made from 320gsm kraft board, a sturdy, unbleached brown board with the natural kraft texture. It folds flat for storage and tucks together in seconds when you're ready to pack, no tape or glue.

We print your design in full colour on the brown kraft, and make each box in Kolkata, for cosmetics, handmade soap, gift boxes and hampers, from a run of 50 right up to bulk.

Getting the size right

Measure your product at its widest points, add about 2mm to each side, and send us those final dimensions. We cut and fold the box to those exact numbers, we don't measure your product or change the figures, we work with what you give us. For example, a 70 × 70 × 90 mm jar becomes a 72 × 72 × 92 mm box.

The boxes arrive flat and pre-pasted, so you just fold in the tuck-end flaps to assemble. Prefer to start from a stock size? These are the standard options, and any can be made custom:

• 1.5 × 1.5 × 4 in — slim bottles, tubes or a single soap bar.
• 2 × 2 × 2 in — small jars, candles and balms.
• 3 × 3 × 3.5 in — medium jars and mid-size candles.
• 4 × 4 × 3 in — larger items, bundles or a small gift set.

How do I set up my artwork for kraft?

Send your design as an Adobe Illustrator or vector PDF, or a 300dpi PNG. Because you're printing on brown kraft, we lay a white-ink base under your colours to keep them crisp; deep, dark colours also print well straight onto the kraft. Extend your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos 3mm inside it.
