How Artwork Prints on Brown Kraft
Kraft board is naturally brown, not white, so the paper colour becomes part of the finished design. high-contrast artwork prints most clearly, making black, deep green, dark blue and burgundy practical choices.
Pale colours and photographic gradients can appear more muted on the brown surface. White ink is not available, so white areas in the artwork show the brown kraft board instead.
A digital proof lets you check the layout, wording and placement before printing. Screen colours and printed colours can differ, so digital printing does not guarantee an exact colour match.
Plan a Clear Card Layout
Keep the most important information easy to read on the visibly textured brown surface. Start with the name, role, phone number, email, website and logo, then add only the details the card needs.
Avoid extremely thin fonts and fine pale lines, which may be harder to read on kraft paper. Keep essential content inside the safe area and use the bleed shown in the supplied artwork template.
